This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the update to your licensed copy of Autodesk Revit 2015 R2, either as a standalone product or as part of a product suite, such as Autodesk Building Design Suite 2015 Ultimate or Autodesk Building Design Suite 2015 Premium. After Update Release 14 is applied successfully, the build number specified on the Help > About dialog will be 20160512_0715. For reference, you should save this readme to your hard drive or print a copy.
Issues Resolved by this Update Release
This update release addresses issues reported to Autodesk and contains the fixes included in Autodesk Revit 2015 Update Release 1, 2, 3, Multi-Category Schedules Hotfix for Update Release 3, Revit 2015 R2 for Subscription customers, as well as Revit 2015 R2 Update Release 5 through 13. Consult the enhancements documentation for all areas improved by this update.
In addition, this update release addresses the Heartbleed vulnerability - a security bug in the open-source OpenSSL cryptography library. Heartbleed is registered in the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures system as CVE-2014-0160. For more information, please visit the CVE dictionary at http://cve.mitre.org
Installed Version required by this Update Release
This update requires Autodesk Revit 2015 R2 for subscription customers (build: 20140905_0730) or later version of Autodesk Revit 2015 R2. Autodesk Revit 2015 R2 for subscription customers will need to be applied to any Revit 2015 installation that has Autodesk Revit 2015 (build: 20140223_1515), Autodesk Revit 2015 Update Release 1 (build: 20140322_1515), Autodesk Revit 2015 Update Release 2 (build: 20140323_1530), or Autodesk Revit 2015 Update Release 3 (build: 20140606_1530) applied.

Administrative Privileges
In order to apply this update, you must have administrative privileges to install and uninstall products.
Product media
Under some circumstances, you may be asked to provide the original installation source.
If you installed Autodesk Revit 2015 from the DVD or USB, you may be asked to insert the disk or USB during installation of the update. Please have the disk or USB available before starting.
If you downloaded and installed Autodesk Revit 2015 from the web and later deleted the extracted files (default location of extracted files is C:\Autodesk\WI\Autodesk Revit 2015), the update installation may not be able to continue. In that case, you should follow the below procedure:
- Obtain the Web download file and save it to your computer.
- Double click the download file and allow it to extract its files, noting where they are being saved.
- When the Autodesk Revit Installer screen appears, click "Cancel".
- Continue with update installation as described in the Installation Instructions.
Backup Custom Files
Back up all customized files, such as Revit.ini, before starting.
Network Deployment
Special command line switches are available for administrators.
/q - Suppresses the completion message after this update is applied. This is useful if you use a script or batch file to apply this update to multiple computers.
/e - Extracts the MSP file from the update executable.

Note: This update cannot be uninstalled to revert Autodesk Revit 2015 to its pre-update state. If you need to remove the update, please uninstall Autodesk Revit 2015 and then reinstall it.
Users of A360 Collaboration for Revit 2015 may experience an error on Revit startup if they install the Revit 2015 R2 Update Release 14 but not the corresponding A360 Collaboration v11 for Revit 2015.
