In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, this update introduces new fixes or addresses issues pertaining to the release. This readme contains information about the fixes contained in this update.

Service Pack 5 Fixes apply to the Autodesk PowerInspect 2017 release (version: 17.1.0.0127800917 CR).

  • PowerInspect was hanging when playing items inside a group.
  • Point cloud point result/display was incorrectly influenced by active alignment.
  • Incorrect value of report variables in tranlsated templates.
  • CAD View Report item unexpectedly recorded view state.
  • Incorrect point compensation within Point Nearest/Furthest from Plane item.
  • Moving of CAD entities to a user level took too long.
  • RPS dialog did not recognise invalid lock choices.
  • Transform Nominals did not affect Picked Points targets.
  • Switching probe type using the device switch did not work.
  • FaroTracker configuration dialog: sample rate and default measurement values were not retained.
  • CNC Edge Points did not output correct CXM for OMV.
  • PowerInspect crashed in info tab for Parallel Probed Plane with no points.
  • Faro Gage: Only allow connection by PowerInspect.
