This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this patch. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the patch to your licensed copy of Autodesk Revit LT 2017. After this patch is applied successfully, the build number specified on the Help > About dialog will be 17.0.1117.0. For reference, you should save this readme to your hard drive or print a copy.
Issues resolved by this patch
This patch contains an update to the FBX SDK and provides a number of security improvements related to processing FBX, DAE, 3DS, and DXF format files.
This patch also addresses issues reported directly to Autodesk and contains the fixes included in previous Autodesk Revit LT 2017 patches. Consult the release notes for all areas improved by this patch.

Administrative privileges
In order to apply this patch, you must have administrative privileges to install and uninstall products.
Product media
Under some circumstances, you may be asked to provide the original installation source.
If you installed Autodesk Revit LT 2017 from the DVD or USB, you may be asked to insert the disk or USB during installation of the patch. Please have the disk or USB available before starting.
If you downloaded and installed Autodesk Revit LT 2017 from the web and later deleted the extracted files (default location of extracted files is C:\Autodesk\WI\Autodesk Revit LT 2017), the patch installation may not be able to continue. In that case, you should follow these steps:
- Obtain the Web download file and save it to your computer.
- Double click the download file and allow it to extract its files, noting where they are being saved.
- When the Autodesk Revit LT installer screen appears, click "Cancel".
- Continue with patch installation as described in the installation instructions.
Backup custom files
Back up all customized files, such as Revit.ini, before starting.
Follow these instructions to install this patch on a single computer.
Note: This patch cannot be uninstalled to revert Autodesk Revit LT 2017 to its pre-patch state. If you need to remove the patch, please uninstall Autodesk Revit LT 2017 and then reinstall it.
