This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this service pack. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the service pack to your licensed copy of Autodesk Revit LT 2017. After Service Pack 1 is applied successfully, the build number specified on the Help > About dialog will be 17.0.476.0. For reference, you should save this readme to your hard drive or print a copy.

As you prepare to install this service pack, keep the following in mind:
Administrative Privileges
In order to apply this service pack, you must have administrative privileges to install and uninstall products.
Product media
Under some circumstances, you may be asked to provide the original installation source.
If you installed Autodesk Revit LT 2017 from the DVD or USB, you may be asked to insert the disk or USB during installation of the service pack. Please have the disk or USB available before starting.
If you downloaded and installed Autodesk Revit LT 2017 from the web and later deleted the extracted files (default location of extracted files is C:\Autodesk\WI\Autodesk Revit LT 2017), the service pack installation may not be able to continue. In that case, you should follow the below procedure:
- Obtain the Web download file and save it to your computer.
- Double click the download file and allow it to extract its files, noting where they are being saved.
- When the Autodesk Revit LT installer screen appears, click "Cancel".
- Continue with service pack installation as described in the Installation Instructions.
Backup Custom Files
Back up all customized files, such as Revit.ini, before starting.
Follow these instructions to install this service pack on a single computer.
Note: This service pack cannot be uninstalled to revert Autodesk Revit LT 2017 to its pre-service pack state. If you need to remove the service pack, please uninstall Autodesk Revit LT 2017 and then reinstall it.
