Autodesk® Structural Bridge Design 2018 introduces post-tensioned
concrete beam design to AASHTO LRFD 7th Edition and 3D interaction surfaces
for design sections.

Project / Structural Analysis
- Unable to view tabular results with numeric format set to certain
regions such as English-Malaysia.
- Unable to enter a real value into the Tabular Results grid Custom
Filter or Filter Builder.
- Show nodes check box on 3D elements graphics not displaying state.
- Software crashes and corrupts the registry key for units when a .sam
file has been changed to a .sst file and is attempted to be opened.
- Copying a block of finite elements in a sub-model to a new location
deletes other elements in the model.
- Improved memory allocation for analysis of large models.
- Dynamic analysis fails with "Invalid Poisson's ratio" error message
in log file when a FE density modification has been applied.
- Error message and subsequent crash when load optimization carried out

Design Beams
- Tendons not included in calculation of d0 distance in AS5100.5
Cl 2.5.4.
- AASHTO LRFD time development factor ktd set lower than the minimum 1.0.
- Calculation of section perimeter is incorrect for some precast sections,
e.g. section with continuous face.
- BS5400 steel composite beam longitudinal shear for sections with haunch
not correct.
- Incorrect automated dead loads shown on graphics for line girder with
associated design sections.
- BS post-tensioned beam construction sequence loading is generated incorrectly
for multi span beams.
- Post-tensioned beam access violation when trying to display primary prestress
effect.
- Post-tensioned beam reinforce faces does not work.
- EU pre-stressed beam ULS shear analysis can hang.
- AU pre-stressed beam ULS analysis can hang.
- EU NDPs maximum compression strut angle cannot be reset above 1.0.
- AU pre-stressed beam analysis "Class" is grayed out and cannot be
reset in ASBD 2017.
- Pre-stressed beam tendon exit height can now be controlled by setting the
deflection angle via the edit tendon attributes form.
- 'Control has no parent window' error message may appear when closing a material
form.
- EU pre-stressed beam live bending printout error for missing variable may appear.
- EU pre-stressed beam tensile stress limits at transfer are incorrect.
- Pre-stressed beam tendon location form graphics shows all section locations
rather than just the current section.
- Unable to redefine pre-tensioned beam components due to "array boundary
overflow" error.
- Generated shear loads can be incorrect when "absolute shear" is
selected on pre-tensioned beam loading form.
- Post-tensioned beam section property correction in stress summary table
dependent on available parasitic effects.
- EU pre-stressed beam erection load case stress result may not be consistent
or correct.
- EU pre-stressed beam fails frequent SLS case but reason is not clear.
- BS reinforced concrete beam shear reinforcement summary incorrectly gives a
link spacing of zero along the whole beam length.
Design Sections
- Additional limiting capacity may be shown incorrectly on analysis form.
- AASHTO LRFD interaction curve resistance factor incorrectly calculated as
1.0 instead of 0.75 on many curve points.
- Section analysis fails with access violation error in ASBD 2016.
- EU Section analysis fails with error message for shear for user section in
ASBD 2017.
- Incorrect torsion when joining section elements in ASBD 2017.
- Control iterations settings are not reset after deselecting a loadcase.
- Iteration control input strains do not give consistent out of balance forces.
- EU crack width calculations have error in printed results.
- Access violation when clearing unassigned materials.
