This readme contains important information regarding the installation and contents of the Update.

Applying Updates

The Inventor Updates will silently uninstall previous updates prior to the current update being installed. Inventor Updates are cummulative of all previous releases up to the stated prerequisite. Note that uninstalling an update should silently revert the Inventor install to the previous Update level, in the event that the uninstall process does not fully restore to a previous installed Update level, the required updates should be manually reinstalled as needed.

Inventor Updates can be applied to Inventor installed as a standalone application or installed as part of a Suite or Collection. You can apply this Update on:

After applying this Update, the product build in the About Box will be listed as Build:136 Inventor 2019.0.1 Update.

Problems Reported Through the Customer Error Reporting Utility

As a result of the detailed information that we received from customers who used the Customer Error Reporting Utility, we were able to identify and fix several defects with the following results:

 

General

  • Improved Stability when cancel Hole command in FEA environment. (INVGEN-13648)
  • Improved Stability when interacting with the origin point of a rectangle. (INVGEN-14325, INVGEN-14786)
  • Improved Stability when closing Inventor from 3D Print environment. (INVGEN-14710)
  • Improved Stability in Base view dialog after iPart member change. (INVGEN-12561)

General Update Content

Several additional defects have been fixed with the following results:

 

API

Application Functionality

  • Migration is not finished by tool style library manager. (INVGEN-14721)
  • OpenSSL Security Update. (INVGEN-13504)

Assembly Modeling

  • Edited Improved stability when editing-in-place a Tube & Pipe sub-assembly to create flexible routes in Express Mode. (INVGEN-13654)
  • Reverted multi-body and surface body browser icons when assembly is opened in Full mode. (INVGEN-14634)
  • Fixes possible issue when user was not prompted to save the document after edits to BOM table layout. (INVGEN-14635)

iLogic

  • Comments after a line continuation character produce a compiler error. (INVGEN-14133)
  • Useful iLogic compiler error messages are not shown if a file or rule name contains parentheses. (INVGEN-15088)

Tutorials

  • When editing a tutorial, a deleted task will no longer appear in the editor or when playing the tutorial. (INVGEN-13491)
  • Adding a video to a tutorial task now persists the added video. (INVGEN-13500)
  • An image added to the tutorial About section now persists. (INVGEN-13515)
  • Edited Only tutorials containing at least one model file or one video file can be shared. (INVGEN-13006)

Uninstall This Update

Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10

  1. Click Start and then Control Panel.
  2. Click Programs.
  3. Click Programs and Features.
  4. In the left pane in the Programs and Features window, click View Installed Updates.
  5. Find the appropriate update in the list of updates. Click Uninstall.
