This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the update to your licensed copy of Autodesk Revit LT 2015 R2. After Update Release 14 is applied successfully, the build number specified on the Help > About dialog will be 20160512_0715. For reference, you should save this readme to your hard drive or print a copy.
Issues Resolved by this Update Release
This update release addresses issues reported to Autodesk and contains the fixes included in Autodesk Revit LT 2015 Update Release 1, 2, 3, Multi-Category Schedules Hotfix for Update Release 3, Revit LT 2015 R2 for Subscription customers, as well as Revit LT 2015 R2 Update Release 5 through 13. Consult the enhancements documentation for all areas improved by this update.
In addition, this update release addresses the Heartbleed vulnerability - a security bug in the open-source OpenSSL cryptography library. Heartbleed is registered in the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures system as CVE-2014-0160. For more information, please visit the CVE dictionary at http://cve.mitre.org
Installed Version required by this Update Release
This update requires Autodesk Revit LT 2015 R2 for subscription customers (build: 20140905_0730) or later version of Autodesk Revit LT 2015 R2. Autodesk Revit LT 2015 R2 for subscription customers will need to be applied to any Revit LT 2015 installation that has Autodesk Revit LT 2015 (build: 20140223_1515), Autodesk Revit LT 2015 Update Release 1 (build: 20140322_1515), Autodesk Revit LT 2015 Update Release 2 (build: 20140323_1530), or Autodesk Revit LT 2015 Update Release 3 (build: 20140606_1530) applied.

As you prepare to install this update, keep the following in mind:
In order to apply this update, you must have administrative privileges to install and uninstall products.
Under some circumstances, you may be asked to provide the original installation source.
If you installed Autodesk Revit LT 2015 from the DVD or USB, you may be asked to insert the disk or USB during installation of the update. Please have the disk or USB available before starting.
If you downloaded and installed Autodesk Revit LT 2015 from the web and later deleted the extracted files (default location of extracted files is C:\Autodesk\WI\Autodesk Revit LT 2015), the update installation may not be able to continue. In that case, you should follow the below procedure:
- Obtain the Web download file and save it to your computer.
- Double click the download file and allow it to extract its files, noting where they are being saved.
- When the Autodesk Revit LT Installer screen appears, click "Cancel".
- Continue with update installation as described in the Installation Instructions.
Backup Custom Files
Back up all customized files, such as Revit.ini, before starting.
Follow these instructions to install this update on a single computer.
Note: This update cannot be uninstalled to revert Autodesk Revit LT 2015 to its pre-update state. If you need to remove the update, please uninstall Autodesk Revit LT 2015 and then reinstall it.
Users of A360 Collaboration for Revit 2015 may experience an error on Revit startup if they install the Revit LT 2015 R2 Update Release 14 but not the corresponding A360 Collaboration v11 for Revit 2015.
