You can apply this update to the following Autodesk products running on all supported operating systems and languages. Be sure to install the update pack for your software.
You can also use Autodesk Application Manager to install the Live Update Maintenance Patches, which will automatically show the correct Hotfix or Update for your product.
Note: It is required that you install Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 Service Pack 3 prior to installing this update.

An issue with AutoCAD Map that caused an unexpected error when opening the status bar has been resolved.
An issue where station labels are not displayed correctly when geometry is overlapping has been resolved.
An issue that caused an AutoCAD Civil 3D startup error after assigning optional properties to a part in Part Builder has been resolved.
An issue that prevented Vault from displaying the projects list in some circumstances has been resolved.
An issue with the spread calculation for curb opening inlet in sag has been resolved in Hydraflow Storm Sewers and Hydraflow Express.
The spread calculation has been updated to improve consistency between Hydraflow Storm Sewer Extension and Hydraflow Express.
An issue with the bypass calculation of a combo inlet on grade in Hydraflow Storm Sewers has been resolved.
The Bypass spread and Bypass depth report values in Hydraflow Storm Sewers has been updated for sag inlets.
The curb inlet depth calculations in Hydraflow Storm Sewers and Hydraflow Express has been updated for sag inlets.
An error when editing a pipe network with a catchment in Storm and Sanitary Analysis has been resolved.
The curb opening inlet calculation in Hydraflow Storm Sewers and Hydraflow Express has been updated for inlets on grade.
The calculation for curb inlets in sag conditions operating as weirs has been updated in Hydraflow Storm Sewers and Hydraflow Express.
The calculation for curb inlets in sag conditions operating as orifices has been updated in Hydraflow Storm Sewers and Hydraflow Express.
The calculation for combination inlets in sag conditions has been updated in Hydraflow Storm Sewers and Hydraflow Express.

Back Up Custom Files
It is recommended that you back up all custom CUIX, MNR, and MNL files before you apply this update.
Administrative Privileges
During installation or uninstallation, you may be prompted for the original installation media or a network image. In order to apply this update, you must have privileges to install and uninstall products.
Network Deployment
Administrators can deploy this update over a network using the Deployment Wizard.
Close the Application
When you are installing this update, a prompt with options to "Automatically close applications and attempt to restart them after setup is complete" or "Ignore" may be displayed. It is required that you close Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2016 before proceeding with the installation of the Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2016.0.4 Update.
Reboot
After you install, it is recommended to reboot your system even if not prompted.

After you install, product information is displayed in the About dialog box.
Follow these instructions to install this update on a single computer.
Follow these instructions to install this update on multiple computers using your local network.
Note: Installation through your local network using the CAD Manager Control Utility is not supported for this update.
The following method of distributing Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016.0.4 Update applies only to administrative images created with the Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 Network Installation wizard. After you complete this procedure, any new deployments of Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 will have the update applied to them automatically. For complete information on updating a Network Administrative Image please see the Autodesk Installation Administrator's Guide.
To apply Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016.0.4 Update to an existing Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 Service Pack 3 administrative image:
Now any new deployments of Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 will have the update applied to them automatically.
Due to an issue with the Microsoft® Windows® operating system, the uninstall process may take longer than expected. For example, you may wait for several hours before the update is uninstalled. It is recommended to have the original installation source files for the uninstall to be successful. If the source files are unavailable, installing the following Microsoft hotfix prior to uninstalling the update will prevent the delay:
The removal of an update takes longer than expected in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2
Follow these instructions to uninstall this update on a single computer.
It is not possible to uninstall the update if the installation source is a network administrative image with 2016.0.4 Update merged.
