This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the update to your licensed copy of Autodesk Revit LT 2016 R2. After Update 4 for Autodesk Revit LT 2016 Release 2 is applied successfully, the build number specified on the Help > About dialog will be 16.0.1124.0. For reference, you should save this readme to your hard drive or print a copy.
Issues Resolved by this Update
This update addresses issues reported directly to Autodesk and contains the fixes included in Autodesk Revit LT 2016 Service Pack 1 and 2, the Autodesk Revit LT 2016 Release 2 update, as well as Update 1, 2, and 3 for Autodesk Revit LT 2016 R2. Consult the release notes for all areas improved by this update.
Installed Version required by this Update
This update requires Autodesk Revit LT 2016 Release 2 for subscription customers (build: 16.0.1063.0) or later version of Autodesk Revit LT 2016 R2. Autodesk Revit LT 2016 R2 for subscription customers will need to be applied to any Revit LT 2016 installation that has Autodesk Revit LT 2016 (build 16.0.428.0), Autodesk Revit LT 2016 Service Pack 1 (build 16.0.462.0), or Autodesk Revit LT 2016 Service Pack 2 (build 16.0.490.0) applied.

As you prepare to install this update, keep the following in mind:
In order to apply this update, you must have administrative privileges to install and uninstall products.
Under some circumstances, you may be asked to provide the original installation source.
If you installed Autodesk Revit LT 2016 from the DVD or USB, you may be asked to insert the disk or USB during installation of the update. Please have the disk or USB available before starting.
If you downloaded and installed Autodesk Revit LT 2016 from the web and later deleted the extracted files (default location of extracted files is C:\Autodesk\WI\Autodesk Revit LT 2016), the update may not be able to continue. In that case, you should follow the below procedure:
- Obtain the Web download file and save it to your computer.
- Double click the download file and allow it to extract its files, noting where they are being saved.
- When the Autodesk Revit LT installer screen appears, click "Cancel".
- Continue with update installation as described in the Installation Instructions.
Backup Custom Files
Back up all customized files, such as Revit.ini, before starting.
Follow these instructions to install this update on a single computer.
Note: This update cannot be uninstalled to revert Autodesk Revit LT 2016 to its pre-update state. If you need to remove the update, please uninstall Autodesk Revit LT 2016 and then reinstall it.
