Thank you for downloading AutoCAD^®/AutoCAD LT for Mac^® 2016.6/2017.4 Security Fix

To align with industry best practices for security and data integrity, Autodesk Identity Services will move to Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 and stop supporting TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 on June 15, 2019. Action may be required to update your software to maintain access to certain product functionality or features. This applies to subscribers of certain versions; customers using versions not listed, or customers with older licenses on maintenance plans, will not be affected. To maintain connectivity, follow the instructions below. If your software is affected and is not updated, connectivity issues may occur as of June 15, 2019.

The 2016.6 version includes all previous updates/hotfixes of the 2016 version. The 2017.4 version includes all previous updates/hotfixes of the 2017 version. Please read the entire document before you apply the Security Fix to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

The following AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac versions are impacted and needs to install this security patch.

• AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac 2016 and all subsequent updates/hotfixes, including 2016 Update 1, 2016 Update 2, 2016 Update 3, 2016 Update 4, 2016.4.1, 2016.5.
• AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac 2017 and all subsequent updates/hotfixes, including 2017.0.1, 2017.1, 2017.1.1, 2017.2, 2017.3.

To install the Security Fix, do the following:

1. Download the correct intsall file of the security patch.
2. Close all Autodesk applications before you begin to install the Security Fix.
3. Run the install file and follow the on-screen instructions.

This Security Fix replaces files from the original installation of the product and cannot be uninstalled separately. To revert this Security Fix, you will need to uninstall AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT and then re-install it from the original product media or download.
