In our continuing efforts to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Inventor 2017.2.1 Update, for Inventor 2017 R2, which addresses multiple issues (see Description below).

This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this hotfix. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the hotfix to your product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

Inventor 2017.2.1 Update:

• 126630: Assembly feature change causes dirty flag in layout part

• 142304: API does not pick the sketch profile with SelectEvents

• 140884: 3D sketch work point created in incorrect location

• 141022: Text using Korean 'Gulim' font is shifted when saving as AutoCAD DWG

• 144893: New value is not commited when Enter is clicked prior to preview compute completing

• 148397: Weld symbol dialog is frozen on place weld annotation in both Weldment and Drawing

• 146062: Columns change and do not match style settings when updating a Revision Table

• 125667: Slow performance when adding Boss occurrence

• 152443: Duplicate sheet metal parameters are created when converting between part and sheet metal

For application of this update, your system must have Inventor from one of the following products installed:

• Autodesk® Product Design Suite Premium 2017

This hotfix is available in 64bit version and is only applicable to Autodesk Inventor 2017 R2. If you do not have R2 please download and install prior to installing this Update. Once installed, it will appear as an Update under Add/Remove Programs and can be uninstalled from there.

1. Update your operating system before you install this Autodesk Inventor 2017 update. Reboot your system after the Updates are installed.
2. Download the update.
3. Double click the .exe file downloaded in step 2 to install this update on each system running Autodesk Inventor 2017 R2.
4. Choose Next to begin the install...
5. Once finished you'll receive the Autodesk Inventor 2017 Setup dialog box stating that the update has been successfully applied.
6. Click Finish to complete the installation and exit the dialog box.
