The 2018.3 Update fixes compatibility issues with macOS^® 10.15 Catalina. This update can be installed on all AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2018 official releases and is recommended for all users. Please read the entire document before you apply the update to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

The 2018.1 and 2018.2 Update are included in this 2018.3 Update.

Compatibility issues on macOS Catalina

• Crashes when create/edit a layer state.
• Shows 'path not found' message and cannot open drawings, if access to Documents folder is not allowed.

The 2018.3 Update can be installed on all official releases of AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2018 for Mac.

To install 2018.3 Update, do the following:

1. Close all Autodesk applications before you begin to install the update.
2. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2018.3_Update_Combo.dmg(AutoCAD_LT_Mac_2018.3_Update_Combo.dmg) to mount the volume.
3. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2018.3_Update_Combo.pkg(AutoCAD_LT_Mac_2018.3_Update_Combo.pkg) in the new mounted volume to run the installer.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Launch AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac after the installation has completed.
6. Click menu AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2018, select About AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT, the Product Version should be "AutoCAD 2018.3".

This update replaces files from the original installation of the product and cannot be uninstalled separately.

To uninstall this update, do the following:

1. Quit AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac.
2. In Finder, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2018 and double-click Remove AutoCAD 2018 app. For LT, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD LT 2018 and double-click Remove AutoCAD LT 2018 app.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Reinstall the product from the original product media or download.
