Autodesk® Structural Bridge Design 2018 introduces post-tensioned
concrete beam design to AASHTO LRFD 7th Edition and 3D interaction surfaces
for design sections.
-
Post-tensioned concrete beam design to AASHTO LRFD 7th Edition.
-
3D interaction surfaces for design sections giving performance
ratio for multiple loads.
-
Support for high DPI displays.

Project / Structural Analysis
- Unable to analyze structure with low torsion members.
- Influence surface incorrect for model with different member releases at an earlier
stage.
- Software crash when reselect analysis dead loading table drop down.
- Unable to transfer line beam automated dead load results unless live analysis
performed.
- Unable to transfer footway bridge automated loads without fatigue load.
- Deck patch load not applied in case of too many divisions in a grillage.
- Unable to open grillage model due to corruption in carriageway definition.
- Invalid floating-point operation when accessing "Stressing and Tendon
Data" for specific model.
Design Beams
- EU Pre-stressed beam: In-situ losses taken as a proportion of the composite section.
- EU Steel composite beam: Section classification and cross-sectional analysis issues:
- Update for Class 4 cross sectional properties due to a correction to internal compression
elements according to EC 1993-5-1 Table 4.1,
- Enhancement for convergence issues when large axial compression acts on the beam,
- Various design report/beam plot corrections for "Combined Bending Axial and Shear"
design check.
- EU Pre-stressed beam: αcw condition not applied correctly in calculations
near support.
- EU Pre-stressed beam: Erection design check: graphics does not match design report.
- EU Pre-stressed beam: External exception in SLS-Frequent design when either extreme
fiber is in tension and error calculating cracking strain (negative fct, eff).
- Unable to use create new from template feature for Design Section and Design Beams.
- Reinforced concrete beam defined in a project after a Pre-stressed beam includes
tendon data from the first beam.
- EU Pre-stressed beam: Shear calculations incorrect with high strength concrete.
- Pre-stressed beam: Error calculating perimeter.
- AASHTO LRFD Steel tub flange stiffener check 6.11.11.2-1 is modified.
- Correction relating to soil or SDL load case selection for "real" shear
setting.
- Effective slab width for AASHTO Steel tub girders revised and skew adjustment removed.
- Pre-stressed beam: Tendons not active are shown in tendon location table but not shown
in associated graphic.
Design Sections
- Initial strain applied on a cross section does not reduce spare capacity.
- EU Section: Accidental shear load values in output are incorrect.
