Thank you for downloading the Autodesk® AutoCAD® Mechanical 2019.0.1 Update.

This readme contains important information regarding the installation and contents of the update.

Note:

  • Updates to AutoCAD are separate and independent of the updates for AutoCAD Mechanical. You will need to install the latest AutoCAD update in addition to any applicable update for AutoCAD Mechanical.
  • After applying this Update, the Product Version number in the About box will be listed as 23.0.61.0 AutoCAD Mechanical 2019.0.1 Update.

    Problems Reported through the Customer Error Reporting Utility

    As a result of the detailed information that we received from customers who used the Customer Error Reporting Utility, we were able to identify and fix several defects with the following results:


    AMPOWERDIM

    • Occasional crashes when editing the Power dimension no longer occur.

    WBLOCK

    • Occasional crashes when working with WBLOCK workflows no longer occur.

    OVERKILL

    • The OVERKILL command now filters out structure objects selection and does not lead to a fatal error.

    General Update Content

    Several additional defects have been fixed with the following results:


    AMMIGRATEBB

    • Genius Drawings can now be migrated using the AMMIGRATEBB command.

    DBMOD

    • System Variable DBMOD now works correctly when Content library items and Centermarks are present in the drawing.

    Construction Lines

    • AMFILLET2D command now works correctly with Construction Lines.

    Shared Views

    • Autodesk Viewer now displays all the properties of AutoCAD Mechanical objects such as Symbols and Standard Content.

      Note: You need to install AutoCAD 2019.1 Update separately for the Shared View Feature to work for AutoCAD Mechanical objects.

    Uninstall This Update

    Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10

    1. Click Start and then Control Panel.
    2. Click Programs.
    3. Click Programs and Features.
    4. In the left pane in the Programs and Features window, click View Installed Updates.
    5. Find the appropriate update in the list of updates. Click Uninstall.
