Problems Reported with the Customer Error Reporting Utility

As a result of the detailed information that we received from customers who used the Customer Error Reporting Utility, we were able to identify and fix several defects with the following results:


Wall Endcap

  • Modify Wall Endcap using "Endcap Edit in Place" throws an error.

General Update Content

The following defects have been fixed:


DWG Compare

  • Occasionally, the COMPARE command compares objects instead of drawings.

gbXML

  • gbXML does not export roofs, slabs, floors, and ceilings.

IFC4x1

  • IFC import does not retain styles for space and curtain wall objects.

ETransmit

  • Transmittal Setup holds incorrect file format with "Exploded AEC Objects."

Migration

  • Few contextual tabs like Block Editor or Text Editor are missing from the ribbon and CUI after migrating from AutoCAD MEP 2017 to AutoCAD MEP 2019.

Project Navigator

  • Callouts do not populate when created or dragged into Project Navigator View.

Start tab/Learn page

  • The Start tab does not display the Learn page.

IFC4x1

  • The correct version of AecIfcFramework.dll was not installed in a side-by-side installation of AutoCAD Architecture 2019 and Civil3D 2019. As such the alignment object in Civil3D was exported to IFC without a GUID.

Uninstall This Update

Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10

  1. Click Start and then Control Panel.
  2. Click Programs.
  3. Click Programs and Features.
  4. In the left pane in the Programs and Features window, click View Installed Updates.
  5. Find the appropriate update in the list of updates. Click Uninstall.
