User Experience

• Improvements for users with high resolution displays and >100% scaling:
• Resize images used in dialogs and wizards to make use of the extra space available
• Scale the levels toolbar appropriately to make it easier to use
• Scale tool-tips so they are easier to read
• Fix the drawing of the status bar to avoid the bottom being cropped
• Allow snapping to other wireframe items when using the arrow instrumentation handles to edit a line and also when editing the span of an arc

Other Issues

• Fix a bug that prevented deletion of items immediately after performing an edit operation
• Fix a corruption which occurred when editing a title block in a drawing
• Resolve a problem that stopped users from replaying the solid history tree
• Fix an issue in the Place wireframe tool that prevented a user from switching between different types of wireframe
• Fix a crash which occurred when converting drawings
• Various other bug fixes and minor enhancements

Summary for 2019.1

This update includes fixes for the top 2 most reported users crashes which between them account for almost 10% of all crash error reports

UI/Workflow

• Fix copy/cut/paste of text using Windows clipboard
• Fix problem stopping calculator from raising when right-clicking in form fields
• Remember toolbar positions
• Add more rows to the level selector form
• Fix greying out of the ISO option on the View ribbon tab when exiting drafting mode
• Sort out layout issues for the Offset toolbar when it's raised for the first time
• Fix issue leading to the Composite Curve option being greyed out in 2D edit mode
• Make F1 context-sensitive by default
• Maintain focus on graphics area for text input after a special character is added using the Text toolbar
• Do not grey out the UI when dragging items using the Limit Point functionality

Solids

• Prevent a crash occurring when trying to edit a hole
• Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when using solid history Replay All
• Correct naming issue for lightweight holes
• Fix an issue when creating a solid using the Automatically Trim Surfaces tool which could cause the new solid to be hidden if the creation level is not 0
• Fix issues related to visibility of the diameter controls on the Smart Feature selector

Electrode

• Prevent issue which could result in a crash when starting Electrode wizard
• Stop electrode branch automatically expanding in the Explorer tree
• Auto-calculate burn depth and clearance when electrode vector is changed
• Ensure Browser displays electrode summary page if exporting to PowerMill
• The electrode EDM script export form is now resizeable

MPP Workflow

• While using the 'MPP' data set on the PowerShape Electrode Wizard, it is now possible to change the material that will be used for the individual family members
• The milling machine name and group for electrodes is no longer a global setting. It can now be set for each individual electrode family member in the Send To MPP dialog
• There is a new electrode wizard form to allow the user to set the machine group name and machine name when exporting GF MPP
• Provide machine group/name options from MPP in electrode shell extension
• Enable VDI surface finish units for MPP electrode undersizes data set
• Fix output of electrode A and B angles in MPP electrode scripts
• There is no longer a requirement for the naming convention of NC files in the electrode machining wizard in the MPP workflow

Other issues

• Fix issue related to fonts which would lead to a crashes in certain locales
• Fix problem preventing access to the Shared Views panel in the Browser window
• Fix a problem that prevented existing custom catalogs from being used
• Stop creating unnecessary parameters when entering units into a field
• Ensure points read in from a DGK file retain their the name from the file if the "Use names from the import file" option is on
• Fix height of text fields on Sculpting toolbar
• Fix slider label on Sculpting toolbar
