This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this hotfix. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the hotfix to your licensed copy of Autodesk Revit 2019, either as a standalone product or as part of a product suite, such as Autodesk Building Design Suite 2019, Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite 2019, or Autodesk Plant Design Suite 2019. After this hotfix is applied successfully, the build number specified on the Help > About dialog will be 19.2.10.7. For reference, you should save this readme to your hard drive or print a copy.
Issues resolved by this hotfix
This hotfix includes new functionality, addresses issues and crashes reported directly to Autodesk, and contains the fixes included in previous Revit 2019 updates and fixes. Consult the release notes for all areas improved by this hotfix.
Additional software applied by this hotfix
With this install the following will be updated: Revit 2019, Collaboration for Revit 2019, Dynamo Core, and Dynamo Revit.
Known issues after applying this hotfix
If Revit 2019 and Revit LT 2019 are installed side-by-side and the 2019.2.1 Hotfix is only applied to one of these products, a "Could not load type 'Autodesk.Revit.DB.ICloudExternalServer' from assembly" error will be displayed when launching the non-updated product. To alleviate this error, make sure to apply the 2019.2.1 Hotfix to both Revit and Revit LT in side-by-side configurations.

As you prepare to install this hotfix, keep the following in mind:
Administrative privileges
In order to apply this hotfix, you must have administrative privileges to install and uninstall products.
Product media
Under some circumstances, you may be asked to provide the original installation source.
If you installed Autodesk Revit 2019 from the DVD or USB, you may be asked to insert the disk or USB during installation of the hotfix. Please have the disk or USB available before starting.
If you downloaded and installed Autodesk Revit 2019 from the web and later deleted the extracted files (default location of extracted files is C:\Autodesk\WI\Autodesk Revit 2019), the hotfix installation may not be able to continue. In that case, you should follow these steps:
- Obtain the web download file and save it to your computer.
- Double click the download file and allow it to extract its files, noting where they are being saved.
- When the Autodesk Revit installer screen appears, click "Cancel".
- Continue with the hotfix installation as described in the installation instructions.
Backup custom files
Back up all customized files, such as Revit.ini, before starting.
Network deployment
Special command line switches are available for administrators.
/q - Suppresses the completion message after this hotfix is applied. This is useful if you use a script or batch file to apply this hotfix to multiple computers.

Note: This hotfix cannot be uninstalled to revert Autodesk Revit 2019 to its pre-hotfix state. If you need to remove the hotfix, please uninstall Autodesk Revit 2019 and then reinstall it.
