KNOWN
ISSUES:
- Server installation may end with an Error - 'Installation
ended prematurely because of an error'. You can resolve this error by
running the installer from an Administrator command prompt.
- Uninstalling
Vault 2019.1 Update client update may seek the 2019 RTM client install
media. Please note that the uninstall action needs the original files
to roll back to the previous version.
- Known Issues with 'Share View' feature:
- For 3D .dwg files, the Shared View available on the
Autodesk Viewer is a 2D view.
- Autodesk
Account 'Sign In' dropdown options are not updated to reflect the
correct status, after successful login from 'Share View' command OR
from 'Shared View' panel. Relaunching Vault client will reflect the
correct dropdown options.
- If you have installed Autodesk Vault 2019.1 Beta (for Client), and
if you are installing 2019.1 update, you might see Error 1328.
Reinstalling Autodesk Vault 2019 RTM first before installing Vault
2019.1 update will help resolve the issue.
- Install Update will clear customize Main Menu and Toolbar
settings on the user client machine.
- Window
update 'KB2533623' for Windows 7 needs to be installed on the system
where user has configured the Job processor and Vault client, otherwise
an error is seen when user tries the update view using Job processor.
- Inventor
Application Options customized settings will take effect only when
Inventor is used for update view. Publishing using Vault client will
use default settings.
- Vault Data
Standard: (VDS)
- Vault custom validation functions: To avoid closed loops
while debugging custom validation functions don’t use the $dsInspect()
method. Enable tracing for the code to investigate instead using
$dsTrace() and activate the log window.
- Designing
of VDS dialogs in Visual Studio requires assemblies from VDS. You might
run into design error when you add reference to the VDS assemblies.
From 2019 onwards, the Visual Studio project should target the "x64"
architecture to be able to consume the dataStandard.UI.dll assembly.
Visual Studio might give you a warning in the Error window tab, in case
of a mismatch.
