The Autodesk^® ISYBAU Translator provides functionality for the Import and Export of Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® gravity pipe networks with pipes and structures to the German ISYBAU standard. Both ASCII and XML formats are supported.

As you prepare to install this extension, keep the following in mind:

Back Up Custom Files

It is recommended that you back up all custom CUIX, MNR, and MNL files before you apply this extension.

Administrative Privileges

During installation or uninstallation, you may be prompted for the original installation media or a network image. In order to apply this extension, you must have privileges to install and uninstall products.

Network Deployment

Administrators can deploy this extension over a network using the Deployment Wizard.

Close the Application

It is required that you close Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® 2020 before proceeding with the installation of this extension.

Reboot

After you install, it is recommended to reboot your system even if not prompted.

About Your Product

After you install, product information is displayed in the About dialog box.

The ISYBAU Translator installs on the German language version of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 by default.  Follow these instructions to install this extension on a single computer.

1. Download the extension and save it to any folder.
2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
3. Find the folder where you saved the extension and double-click the executable (.exe) file.

To install the ISYBAU Translator on a different language version of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 the extension must be run from the command line with a CADLANG property specified.

An example for the English language version of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 is:
"Autodesk ISYBAU Translator 2020_64bit_de.exe" CADLANG=409

The ISYBAU Translator installs on the German language version of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 by default.  Follow these instructions to install this extension on multiple computers using your local network.

1. Download this extension and save it to any shared folder on your local network.
2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
3. Find the shared folder where you saved the extension, and double-click the executable (.exe) file.

The following method of distributing the Autodesk^® ISYBAU Translator for Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® 2020 applies only to administrative images created with the Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 Network Installation wizard. After you complete this procedure, any new deployments of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 will have the extension applied to them automatically. For complete information on creating and updating a Network Administrative Image please see the Autodesk Installation Administrator's Guide.

To apply the ISYBAU Translator for Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 to an existing Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 administrative image:

1. Download this extension and save it to any shared folder on your local network.
2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
3. On the workstation where you initially created the Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 deployment, open the Tools folder and double-click the Create & Modify a deployment shortcut icon.
4. Follow the wizard to the product configuration screen and expand the Include additional software accordion.
5. In the Additional Software section, click Add and browse to the location you saved the extension.
6. Collapse the Include additional software accordion and click the Create button.

Now any new deployments of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 will have the extension applied to them automatically.

This extension can be uninstalled through the Program and Features section of the Microsoft® Windows® Control Panel.

Follow these instructions to uninstall this extension on a single computer.

1. Insert the product media (for example, the Autodesk Civil 3D installation disc) or make sure the installation source files are available.
2. In Windows Control Panel > Program and Features, click on the Autodesk ISYBAU Translator 2020 and choose the Uninstall option.
3. In the Autodesk ISYBAU Translator 2020 maintenance dialog box click Yes to confirm that you want to uninstall the extension.
