You can apply this update to the following Autodesk products running on all supported operating systems and languages. Be sure to install the correct update for your software.

As you prepare to install this update, keep the following in mind:

Back Up Custom Files

It is recommended that you back up all custom CUIX, MNR, and MNL files before you apply this update.

Administrative Privileges

To apply this update, you must have privileges to install and uninstall products. During installation or uninstallation, you may be prompted for the original installation media or a network image.

Network Deployment

Administrators can deploy this update over a network using the Deployment Wizard.

Close the Application

It is required that you close Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2020 before proceeding with the installation of this update.

Reboot

After you install, it is recommended to reboot your system even if not prompted.

About Your Product

After you install, product information is displayed in the About dialog box.

Apply This Update to a Stand-Alone Installation

Follow these instructions to install this update on a single computer.

  1. Download the update and save it to any folder.
  2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
  3. Find the folder where you saved the update and double-click the executable (.exe) file.

Apply This Update Through a Local Network

Follow these instructions to install this update on multiple computers using your local network.

  1. Download this update and save it to any shared folder on your local network.
  2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
  3. Find the shared folder where you saved the update and double-click the executable (.exe) file.

Apply This Update to a Network Administrative Image

The following method of distributing Autodesk® Storm and Sanitary Analysis 2020.1 applies only to administrative images created with the Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2020 Network Installation wizard. After you complete this procedure, any new deployments of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 will have the update applied to them automatically. For information on creating and updating a Network Administrative Image, please see the Autodesk Installation Administrator's Guide.

To apply this update to an existing Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 administrative image:

  1. Download this update and save it to any shared folder on your local network.
  2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
  3. On the workstation where you initially created the Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 deployment, open the Tools folder and double-click the Create & Modify a deployment shortcut icon.
  4. Follow the wizard to the product configuration screen and expand the Include additional software accordion.
  5. In the Additional Software section, click Add and browse to the location where you saved the update.
  6. Collapse the Include additional software accordion and click the Create button.

Now any new deployments of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 will have the update applied to them automatically.

Uninstall This Update

This update can be uninstalled through the Program and Features section of the Microsoft® Windows® Control Panel.

Follow these instructions to uninstall this update on a single computer.

  1. Insert the product media (for example, the Autodesk Civil 3D installation media) or make sure the installation source files are available.
  2. In Windows Control Panel > Program and Features, click on Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis 2020.1 and choose the Uninstall option.
