This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of ReCap Photo 2020.2 Update release. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you install this product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

Affected Products

This update applies to the following products:

·         Autodesk ReCap Photo versions: 20.1.0.32

Important notes before updating:

·         Please complete all running projects before updating ReCap Photo.

·         Old projects residing in A360 (a360.autodesk.com/drive) will not be available for download from Recap Photo dashboard after updating. We advise users to migrate old projects from A360 to Autodesk Drive. Refer to A360 Drive Retirement for more information.

What is included in Autodesk ReCap Photo 20.2.0.67?

New Features:

·         A360 Drive integration for 3D photo reconstruction deliverables is being replaced by Autodesk Drive and BIM Docs. Users can choose the destination folder on their Autodesk Drive or BIM Docs via Autodesk Desktop Connector.

Installation Instructions

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete the installation process.

1. Updating Autodesk ReCap Photo on a single computer:

a. Using Autodesk Desktop App:

·         Ensure Autodesk ReCap Photo version 20.1.0.32 is installed on the computer.

·         Launch Autodesk Desktop App from the system tray or from Start -> Autodesk -> Autodesk Desktop App.

·         Click on the 'Updates' tab; Autodesk ReCap Photo 2020.2 Update should be visible in the list.

·         Click on 'Install'. The new update will be downloaded and installed. ReCap Photo's current version 20.1.0.32 will be updated to version 20.2.0.67.

b. Direct download & install:

·         Ensure ReCap Photo version 20.1.0.32 is installed on the computer.

·         Login to Autodesk Account: https://manage.autodesk.com/home/

·         Download ReCap Photo update from "Product Updates"

·         Double click on ReCap_Photo_v20.1.0.32_to_v20.2.0.67.msp

·         Follow the installation instructions on the screen. ReCap Photo's current version 20.1.0.32 will be updated to version 20.2.0.67.
