This release notes contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this Hotfix. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before updating your product(s).
For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.
Note: Updates to AutoCAD are separate and independent of the updates for AutoCAD-based vertical products. You will need to install the AutoCAD update in addition to any applicable update for your vertical products.
This Hotfix can be applied to the 2021.1.1 versions of the following products:
This Hotfix resolves an issue with increased DWG file sizes and slow performance when DISPSILH is set to 1.
You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete the installation process. Note that the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 for Windows (or a higher version) must be installed prior to applying this Hotfix.
Option 1 (Recommended)
Install the Hotfix for your product using the Autodesk Desktop Application.
Note: You must install the AutoCAD 2021.1.1 Update in order to install this Hotfix.
Option 2
Note: You must install the AutoCAD 2021.1.1 Update in order to install this Hotfix.
You can use the Control Panel (Programs and Features on Windows 10) to rollback this performance Hotfix by selecting and double-clicking its name.
