The 2022.1 Update improves user experience in block library. It also improves overall stability of the product. This update is recommended for all users. Please read the entire document before you apply the update to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

Block Library

• Sub folders now available in the block library panel.

• Crash when select or edit some particular mtexts.
• OSNAP sometimes misses the target point.
• Saving drawings removes the file tag.
• "Move to layer" shortcut menu does not show the dialog.

The 2022.1 Update can be installed over the official release of AutoCAD(AutoCAD LT) 2022 for Mac.

To install 2022.1 Update, do the following:

1. Close all Autodesk applications before you begin to install the update.
2. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2022.1_Update_Combo.dmg(AutoCAD_LT_Mac_2022.1_Update_Combo.dmg) to mount the volume.
3. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2022.1_Update_Combo.pkg(AutoCAD_LT_2022.1_Update_Combo.pkg) in the new mounted volume to run the installer.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. The version can be checked in menu AutoCAD 2022(AutoCAD LT 2022) > select About AutoCAD(AutoCAD LT), you should see "AutoCAD 2022.1"("AutoCAD LT 2022.1") label.

To install 2022.1 Update with scripts, run the following in terminal:

• sudo installer -pkg <update pkg path> -target /

This update replaces files from the original installation of AutoCAD for Mac and cannot be uninstalled separately.

To uninstall the full product, do the following:

1. Quit AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac.
2. In Finder, navigate to /Applications/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2022 and double-click Remove AutoCAD 2022 app. For LT, navigate to /Applications/Autodesk/AutoCAD LT 2022 and double-click Remove AutoCAD LT 2022 app.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
