The Autodesk^® Geotechnical Modeler Extension provides a suite of tools to visualize, process, analyze and export geotechnical data directly within the Civil 3D environment for use in a variety of civil engineering design projects.

As you prepare to install this extension, keep the following in mind:

Previous Versions of this Extension

It is required to uninstall the any previous versions of the Autodesk Geotechnical Modeler Extension 2022 before installing this extension.

Back Up Custom Files

It is recommended that you back up all custom CUIX, MNR, and MNL files before you apply this extension.

Administrative Privileges

During installation or uninstallation, you may be prompted for the original installation media or a network image. In order to apply this extension, you must have privileges to install and uninstall products.

Close the Application

It is required that you close Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® 2022 before proceeding with the installation of this extension.

Reboot

After you install, it is recommended to reboot your system even if not prompted.

About Your Product

After you install, product information is displayed in the About dialog box.

Follow these instructions to install this extension on a single computer.

1. Download the extension and save it to any folder.
2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
3. Find the folder where you saved the extension and double-click the executable (.exe) file.

1. Download this extension and save it to any shared folder on your local network.
2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
3. Find the shared folder where you saved the extension, and double-click the executable (.exe) file.

This extension can be uninstalled through the Program and Features section of the Microsoft® Windows® Control Panel.

Follow these instructions to uninstall this extension on a single computer.

1. Make sure the installation source files are available.
2. In Windows Control Panel > Program and Features, click on the Autodesk Geotechnical Modeler Extension 2022 and choose the Uninstall option.
3. In the Autodesk Geotechnical Modeler Extension 2022 maintenance dialog box click Yes to confirm that you want to uninstall the extension.
